Welcome to February! Phil the groundhog saw his shadow last weekend so we have a few more weeks of winter and the snow just keeps coming! The banks are getting higher and higher and we are trying to get out and enjoy this wonderland but we still need to keep moving the snow to new locations to allow for the vehicles to keep moving about.

It is absolutely amazing to see a winter like we used to see and the ability to traverse through the forest without fears of running water! (due to the unforgiving freezing temperatures!) It is certainly taking it’s toll on the heating bill and the wood stove’s ability to swallow cords of wood at a time.

With this year’s Toronto Boat Show behind us we have seen a lot of people looking forward to some new toys for the warmer weather to come. If there is anything we can assist with we certainly will do our best to help put a new toy on the dock or beach. We have been extremely busy putting a lot of deals together for the season coming so don’t hesitate or it might be too late with the way the US dollar is going to secure the toys you want at a decent price.

There has been lots of snowshoeing, skiing and sledding going on as has been witnessed by the tracks everywhere so come up and enjoy a real Canadian winter!
