As of 11:30 this morning and until further notice, there is a complete fire ban in effect. This means absolutely no burning is permitted, including any fires used for cooking and camping purposes.
The long weekend has arrived! After another beautiful week, we hope this warm weather sticks around so everyone can get out and enjoy the water. We would love to have you come out and enjoy the fireworks Saturday night on Beaver Lake, and don’t forget to stop by and sign up for parasailing!

Somehow it is the middle of July already and what a spectacular start to summer we have had! The kids in swimming lessons (and the instructors) are much happier spending the morning in the water this year than they were last. There are still 4 more weeks to go so its not too late to register for a session.
This Saturday is One Big Day at the community center with the annual softball tournament, BBQ, yard sale, bake sale, and auction for Community Policing. There will also be balloons from 11-1, a salsa cook off, and a watermelon eating contest at 12:30. It looks like it will be a beautiful day so come on out and have some fun at the community center!
The Fireworks on August long weekend will be on Beaver Lake this year. And don’t forget to register for parasailing on August 6th! More information and pricing can be found here or in the store.
