Well where does the time go?!  We hope everyone is enjoying the holidays so far and that Santa was good to all the kids out there.  It was nice to have a white Christmas for a change!  There is a fair bit of snow on the ground and the groomers are out working on the snowmobile trails.  Hopefully it will be a better year for the sleds than last year.  The trails are not open yet,but you can check here for updates over the coming days and weeks.  Please stay off of the lakes!  Although the smaller lakes may be frozen, they are not safe!  The big lakes are still open in the middle.  Hopefully we will get some cold temperatures before too much more snow flies so we get a good freeze up.  Also, after all the freezing rain over the past 24 hours, the side roads are slippery, and private roads could be dangerous. The sanders are out working away, and hopefully a bit of snow will help driving conditions.
We are closed now for the holidays and will re-open January 2nd.

Merry Christmas and we wish everyone a happy, healthy 2017!

Fall morningAnother month has come and gone, and what a gorgeous month it was!  It hardly felt like fall until a week ago. Leaves have started to change and the water has dropped very quickly over the past week.  If you haven’t done so already, please make sure to make arrangement with Gord for us to pick up your boat as soon as possible so we can get them all in and ready to hibernate.
Hunting season has also started so please remember to wear orange if you are going out for a walk.
Our hours for October are 9am-5pm everyday this week, however as usual we will be closed on Sundays after Thanksgiving until snowmobile trails open.

It looks like it will be a gorgeous weekend – enjoy your turkey and Happy Thanksgiving!

summer picsLabour Day already?! It sure doesn’t feel like it.
What an incredible summer we’ve had…amazing weather, good water levels, and lots going on around the lakes and in the community.  We had a great summer crew here this year, and as you can see despite being busy, they too had some fun this summer – Gord taught them how to mop, Claire tried to see how many water jugs she could carry at once, Arcade never missed a ride anywhere, and they even got to go parasailing!  Good luck back at school this year and thanks for a great summer.

Boats have been coming in steadily today and the lists are ever-growing for pick-ups over the coming weeks.  Please get in touch with Gord  to book storage for your toys this winter.

We want to wish all the kids out there a great week back to school and we will see you soon!
