March Break has begun! The weather looks like it might be co-operative until at least mid-week. This time of year always has some interesting weather. The lakes are still frozen but you just have to watch for the drain holes etc. which are a result of the rains of this week. Snowmobiling is marginal at best with most of the trails either listed as closed or limited. The conditions that the club has had to deal with have made it virtually impossible to do more than what they have. Considering the snowfall this year they did a fabulous job! There is downhill skiing available to the north at Haliburton as well as a private trail system that has awesome sledding conditions as of earlier this week. This is available at Haliburton Wildlife Reserve. These are just a few options that are available to fill in your days at the lake. We are starting to get busy again so if there is any jobs or updates you are thinking about for your toys please let Sally know asap so we can ensure they are completed by launch time. We also have a great selection of kayaks available again this year so if this is on your wish list let me know and I will set that special ride aside for softer water use. Also available, we have personal watercraft drive on docks to keep the toys safe. Whatever your spring needs please give us a call and we will get them taken care of so you can enjoy your summer. Have a great March Break and we will be seeing alot of you soon.
